The Grade School Child is given a daily dose of Child’s Work Period to give her/him opportunities for personal mastery and comprehension of specific academic skills based on her/his plane of development. The child charts her/his own progress on a personal tracker and scheduler. Personal targets are set and pacing is based on personal capacity. The Child’s Work Period improves one’s focus, concentration and personal motivation to pursue excellence and mastery. Individual construction is most important for personal development. A child who has had a healthy amount of individual construction is able to effectively work well with others. They are solid individuals who have something significant to share.
